online monthly halter show

  • Monthly Halter Online Points Only Shows (OPOS) are held the second Saturday of each month and are free to any paid up member of IPABRA.

  • The Monthly OPOS are held in an account at SmugMug. If you would like to enter your horses in the show, please contact Cory and let her know the initials you would like to use. Once your eligibility is verified, you will receive the album and password information.

  • Important information about OPOS:

  • Entrant must be a CURRENT IPABRA member.
  • There is a limit of 5 (five) horses per entrant per class. This does not include foals that are entered only in the Bloodstock classes.
  • The maximum photo size is 800 x 800 pixels. Oversized photos will be disqualified and moved to the Pony Pound.
  • Digitally altered backgrounds and Photoshopped images added to the photo (props, handlers, riders, etc.) are not allowed. Adjusting tone, brightening, cropping, etc. are fine.
  • Include the following information on your gender, breed & color entries: (all horse info is under the photo in the Description line. Please DO NOT put the horse's name in the title.) Horse’s Name – Shower’s 3 Initials, (Sire x Dam), Color, Breed, Sex , Make/Model and finish (OF or CM). Any relevent links to support color or breed documentation can be added here.
  • NEW FOR 2025!! Each show horse MUST have a sire and dam listed on their photo info in order to show*. "Pending" will no longer be accepted and your horse will be disqualified from the show.
  • *there will be some horses exempt from this rule. Breeds that are very rare; breeds that are feral and have no governing studbook; breeds that are grade/mixed with unknown parentage; If you are unsure, please reach out to Cory.
For example:
Bloodstock Entry format:
  • Bloodstock Entry plus Foals need to be placed in the album in consecutive order.
  • Bloodstock entries will have a different title system than other classes:
Sire (Dam): Number (1,2,3, etc), your 3 initials, (s) or (d) - is this a sire or dam?, Horse’s Name Foal: Same number as sire (dam), your 3 initials, Horse’s Name Example: sire named Dun Smokin and a foal named Raspberry Flame, the entries would go: 1ABC(s) - DunSmokin 1ABC - Raspberry Flame Then the next group could go: 2ABC(s) - Al-Maison 2ABC - Ginger Crown You can reuse numbers if you want – you can use the number one in JUNIOR SIRE and JUNIOR DAM, for example. RESULTS ARE POSTED TO THE FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE
